Adam Demuth

Adam is a 2002 graduate of Jesup High School, Jesup, IA. Following graduation, Adam attended Kirkwood Community College, graduating in 2004 with an Associates of Applied Science in Agricultural Production, with an emphasis in beef production.

Adam is currently employed with East Central Iowa Cooperative, Jesup, Iowa.  Adam’s duties with Double A N’ J Cattle include herd health management, nutrition, and show barn assistance. Furthermore, as a Certified Artificial Insemination Technician, Adam often assists with the breeding program and donor dams.


Anna Demuth

Anna is also a 2002 graduate of Jesup High School, Jesup, IA. Following graduation, Anna attended Kirkwood Community College, graduating in 2004 with an Associates of Applied Science in Entry Level Fire Science. Anna furthered her dynamic education graduating again from Kirkwood, with a second Associates of Applied Science in Agricultural Business, Anna is currently employed  as an Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B) with Covenant Ambulance Service, a part of Wheaton Franciscan Health Care, Waterloo, IA.

Anna’s duties with Double A N’ J Cattle include breeding program management, herd health management, and show barn management. Anna is also a Certified Artificial Insemination Technician and is responsible for managing several aspects of the breeding program and donor dams.


Jordan Kelly

Jordan is Anna Demuth’s brother, and recently moved back to the farm. Jordan is a 2006 graduate of Jesup High School. Following graduation, he attended Iowa State University, later transferring to Mercy College of Health Sciences, Des Moines, Iowa. Jordan graduated in August of 2009 as a Paramedic Specialist. In April of 2010 Jordan attended the University ofIowa Emergency Medical Service Learning Resource Center (EMSLRC) to obtain a Critical Care Paramedic Endorsement.

Jordan is currently employed with both the Mercy Hospital of the Franciscan Sisters, Oelwein, IA and the City of West Des Moines Emergency Medical Services as a Paramedic Specialist/Critical Care Paramedic.

Jordan’s duties with Double A N’ J Cattle include marketing, advertisement, breeding program management, donor program management, and showmanship. He is also a Certified Artificial Insemination Technician. Jordan has been honored many times for his outstanding showmanship including, 2005 and 2006 Buchanan County Fair Senior Beef Showman, 2006 Buchanan County Fair Master Showman (round robin style of all species), 2006 Reserve Champion Iowa Polled Hereford Intermediate Showman, and 2007 and 2009 Champion Iowa Polled Hereford Senior Showman.


Jeremy Gardemann

Jeremy is the newest addition to the group and has come on board as a future Hereford Junior showman. Jeremy has made many contributions to the success of Double A N’ J Cattle and has worked countless hours improving the show barn and farm. Jeremy will pick up where the end of Jordan’s junior show career has ended.

As a 2008 graduate of Benton Community School, Jeremy is now attending Kaplan University studying to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and will follow immediately pursing licensure as a Registered Nurse at a college of his choice. He currently works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Oral Medication Technician (OMT) at West Ridge Care Center, Cedar Rapids, IA.
